Pascalle Lepas draws Wilde Life. I've only just started it. It's an engaging story so far, what with ghosts and werewolves and all. Have a look:

Red Rover
I love comics that send up plate tectonics as thie xkcd webcomic by Randall Munroe does. Incidentally, there's a new paper out that postulates that the Cambrian explosion may have involved a major plate tectonics event.
The "title-text" at the actual webcomic says:

Australia Asylum Seekers (guest post)
Guest poster Amanda Murphyao here with some more cartoon maps (carto-caricatures) of Australia. These are all from 2009, found more or less around the internet, but www.inkcinct.com.au seems to the original source. I guess the cartoonist is not particularly keen on asylum seekers:

Where's the UK?
Enterprise car rentals in the UK has a new ad that features a geography joke (below). Their tag line at the end ("UK car hire... with US customer service") doesn't do much for me as it reminds me of the hell part of the joke about European heaven and hell:
Heaven is a place where:
The lovers are Italian
The food is French
The cars are German
The humor is English
The government is run by the Swiss

RV-ing with Judge Parker
Some time ago we did a post with a Judge Parker strip by Woody Wilson & Mike Manley. I'm sorry, but there's an opportunity to do that again... this time showing the gang actually using a map rather than just talking about using one. That last storyline about a kidnapping ended with a wedding. Who knows where this one's headed... or why they're using a hardcopy map rather than a GPS that's almost surely built into the ridiculously expensive "Road Queen" that they've purchased for this adventure.

West Germany eats East Germany (guest post)
Today's the third in a series of Germany map cartoons by your Monday guest poster, Amanda Murphyao.
Really wish I could find the citation on this one, but I suppose it's self-explanatory:
Based on the file name, this is form 1990, but further information would be appreciated!
