We're a day late for Columbus Day, but Matthew Inman at The Oatmeal throws in a few maps, or at least some globes, to debunk the heroism of Christopher Columbus... but doesn't just stop at (justifiably) tearing down one person, but rather (again justifiably) builds up another: Bartolomé de las Casas (not to be confused with the subject of that Oscar-winning early 1993 movie "The Mission"
