Maps show up all the time in
editorial cartoons. It's not quite as common for map concepts themselves to be the news. But with the
recent tragic shooting in
Tucson and the comments about "survey markers, not crosshairs", this item becomes a perfect candidate for posting on this blog. Rather than drawing this out for days, I'm just gonna throw them all up here. Remember, these are the opinions of the cartoonists who drew these and may or may not represent any opinions I might hold. But if you wanna discuss any of this in the comments, please feel free.
