It's easy to make fun of the monumentally deplorable geography knowledge in the US. But that's not the only place where geography fails can happen:

Apple Maps iOS7 isn't trying to kill you anymore

Last year we had some fun with the fiasco that was Apple Maps. One of the things mentioned to me that I didn't put in a post was the fact that even the icon for Apple Maps shows directions for driving off the middle of a freeway overpass. Now there is a new operating system for Apple mobile devices in the form of iOS7 and they've made at least one improvement:
